Erotica - Harlequin Spice Briefs will be publishing another of Crystal Jordan's novellas about shape-shifters gathering during the Wild time to mate. 

EXCITING DEBUT AUTHOR

Mainstream Fiction - Historian Lois Leveen has penned The Winds Of Freedom based on the true story of ex-slave Mary Bowser who infiltrated the Confederate White House to spy for the North. Publication set for February 2012. 

MOVIE NEWS

Young Adult - Film rights to Jay Asher’s Thirteen Reasons Why has just been bought by Universal Pictures. Teen queen Selena Gomez from TV's Wizards of Waverly Place set to star in the adaptation. 

PIQUING OUR CURIOSITY

Mystery - A feisty reporter must find out whodunit after the rich businessman she profiled for her newspaper is murdered in Cathy Lubenski's upcoming novel Trashy Chic which hits shelves this Fall. 

Mainstream Fiction - And on a more serious note, Pamela Ribon's next novel, You Take It From Here, is about a terminally ill woman who asks her best friend to take her place when she dies, which includes marrying her husband. 

Young Adult - Jordana Frankel's dystopia YA series takes place in the future after a devastating flood wipes out almost all of civilization. Survivors living in New York City must take refuge at the tops of abandoned buildings. No word yet on when the first in the two book series, The Ward, releases.
