NEW SERIES ALERT
Urban Fantasy - Caitlin Kittredge’s Black Dog, the first in the author's new UF series, will follow a century-old Hellhound who must serve her reaper boss by collecting souls. And if the drama of rounding up the damned wasn't enough, the heroine is approached by a necromancer with a plan for revenge. Release date TBA.
RETURNING FAVORITE SERIES
Erotica - Christina Lauren will be writing two more Beautiful Bastard novels, which makes us curious as to who will be getting their HEA next! Could it be Max’s friend Will? Or perhaps Chloe and Sara’s sassy cohort George? Readers will find out when book 3 releases later this year and then in 2014 when we get book 4. Plus, expect three additional novellas set in this world, all slated for publication in 2013.
PIQUING OUR CURIOSITY
Contemporary Romance - Bestselling author A.L. Jackson treats readers to another sweet tale with Come to Me Quietly. The story is about a man who returns home with the intention of facing his past demons, only to find that everything isn’t as he left it, including his best friend’s younger sister, who has grown into a woman he can’t escape. Look for this title in Winter 2014.
Young Adult - What’s a girl to do when she wakes up in a big city with no memory and realizes she’s the target in a dangerous game? Run for her life, we presume. Find out how Anna Carey’s heroine deals with this sticky situation in Blackbird, available Fall 2014.
Series Romance - An FBI agent must travel to a Caribbean island to stop a billionaire who’s scheming to con an innocent painter in Jean Thomas’ upcoming Harlequin Romantic Suspense, A Lethal Affair. Release date TBA.
Thriller - Time travel meets juicy celebrity drama in Liv Spector’s The Infinity Murders, in which a detective must travel back in time to stop the crime that ended her career. But in order to do so, she must go undercover as one of Miami’s wealthy elite. This title is scheduled for release in January 2014.
New Adult - Molly McAdams delivers two more drama-filled love stories with Deceiving Lies, about a couple who must pick up the pieces after a disastrous summer while simultaneously escaping baddies who want them hurt, and Sharing You, about a young woman with her own slew of issues falls for a man trapped in an unhappy marriage. Readers can grab both of these titles in Spring 2014.
Mainstream Fiction - Veteran TV writer Ann Hamilton tries her hand at novel writing with Expecting, a story about a woman’s pregnancy gone wrong. Readers will learn about a shocking mishap from three separate characters: The woman who learns her doctor impregnated her with a man other than her husband’s “donation,” the husband who learns the child isn’t his and a stranger who’s surprised to learn he’s a father. Release date TBA.

Urban Fantasy - Karina Cooper’s steampunk heroine Cherry St. Croix is moving to Carina Press, with three more books planned for digital release starting this fall. After the shocking ending to Gilded, we’re excited to see what Cooper has in store for Cherry, and wondering if it will include the mysterious Micajah Hawke.
Historical Romance - Filled with plenty of political intrigue, Rose Lerner’s Sweet Disorder tells the story of a woman whose marriage becomes the key to a controversial election and the elite ex-soldier who tries to help his brother find the woman a politically worthy husband, but instead falls for her himself. This love story will be available for download in March 2014.
EXCITING DEBUT AUTHOR
Science Fiction - Tom Sweterlitsch's first novel, Tomorrow and Tomorrow, is set ten years after the destruction of Pittsburgh and follows one survivor who’s involved in creating a digital reproduction of the area, and in doing so discovers a scandalous cover-up that explains the city’s demise. Release date TBA.
Annabel Monaghan’s A Girl Named Digit is headed to the Disney Channel for an original TV movie! Teen heroine Farrah Higgins goes from high school math whiz to terrorist hunter when she realizes she was forewarned about a terrorist attack. She’s whisked away to investigate the crime and realizes that her formula has earned some unwanted attention, and dangerous men are hot on her trail. This exciting story strikes the perfect balance of high school drama and thrilling adventure, so we have a feeling it will be a big hit with 'Tween viewers.
