Urban Fantasy - Fans of Suzanne Johnson’s Sentinels of New Orleans series are sure in for a treat! Next year, Johnson will release Pirate’s Alley and Belle Chasse, books four and five in the thrilling series. Be sure to catch up with Drusilla "DJ" Jaco a Wizard Sentinel in the meantime!


Young Adult - Self-published phenom, Amanda Hocking, is set to release a three-part spin-off series of her bestselling Trylle Trilogy. The new series, called the Kanin Chronicles, will give readers a unique look into Trylle’s troll society. Release date: Summer 2014.


Historical Romance - Bringing a dash of humor to the historical romance world, Mia Marlowe’s upcoming Scandal in Summer tells the tale of a disinherited lord, the favored footman and a heroine who refuses to be a ‘purse with feet’ to save the lord’s estate. Release date: TBA.

Contemporary Romance - Amy Sue Nathan, author of The Glass Wives, returns with Falling Into Place, in which a divorced mom suddenly finds herself as the new dating columnist for a popular website after lying about having an amazing boyfriend on her own blog. Problem is, it’s been years since she last went on a date. 

Fantasy - When her mother is turned into a tree by a spell gone haywire, a young spell caster teams up with a band of outcasts to save her mom in Karen Cushman’s The Song of the Wise Woman’s Daughter. This magical tale is scheduled for release in Spring 2015.

Series Romance - In Barb Han’s Her Secret Protector, a woman finds herself the target of an escaped killer’s plot for revenge. But will the protection of a U.S. Marshal who’s willing to risk everything to keep her safe be enough? Find out what happens when this three book series launches soon! 

Graphic Novel - Set on the mysterious island of Here, Stephen Collin’s The Gigantic Beard That Was Evil tells the story of a hairless man who suddenly begins growing a beard, a beard that is growing too fast and could lead to the destruction of the island’s inhabitants. Fans of Tim Burton are sure to love this darkly comic tale when it hits shelves Fall 2014.


Erotica - Paranormal romance author Stacey Kennedy is ready to turn up the heat with her next project — an erotic novella featuring firefighters. Who doesn’t love a man in (and out of) uniform? Look for this scorching read next March!

Contemporary Romance - Joan Traub is set to charm readers with Silk & Satin, in which a girl finds herself house sitting cats, who are the inheritors of a kooky old lady’s estate, and falling in love with the handsome guy next door. Release date: TBA.


Memoir - Blogger Samantha Verant recounts how she reconnected with a lost Parisian love through discovering old love letters. But Verant discovered more than just a lost love — she also found the key to change her life for the better. Look for this touching true story next spring.


Keira Knightley, known for starring in period pieces like Pride and Prejudice and Anna Karenina, has set her eyes on producing and starring in an adaptation of Suzanne Rindell’s The Other Typist, a story about obsession, police department typists, and the seductive lure of New York City in the 1920’s.
