Mainstream - Debut author Brendan Deneen’s The Ninth Circle, inspired by Dante’s Inferno, sounds awesome. To wit: a teenager joins a traveling circus with the hopes of starting a new life after a becoming enthralled by the eyes of a bearded lady. But things are never quite as they seem. Historical Romance - Fans of bestselling and RT Top Pick! author Mary Balogh will get three new novels in her Survivors’ Club series as well as four backlist titles! Release dates and titles: TBA.

Mystery - A favorite amongst mystery readers and the RT team, Catherine Coulter will add two new titles to her FBI thriller series, featuring Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock, and set in San Francisco. Release dates and titles: TBA.

Fantasy - Mary Robinette Kowal’s Glamourist History series has won over readers across genres, and fans will be happy to hear Kowal is ready to add a fifth title — Of Noble Family — to the series. But that’s not all! Stagecraft and Ghost Talkers, two non-series historical fantasy novels, are set to hit shelves, too! Release dates: TBA.


New Adult - If you couldn't get enough of breakout star Cora Carmack's Losing It universe, get ready for more college gossip, drama and romance with the author's new series, starting with All Lined Up. About a girl whose father moves from coaching high school to college football — at her college — and the struggles that come with dating when you're the coach's daughter, the first book in this 3-book series hits shelves next May. To say we're excited would be an understatement!


Urban Fantasy - Jim Butcher is set to add two new graphic novels to his extensive catalog of work. Fans of his Dresden Files series will especially love these additions, as each title will feature an original story set in the Dresden Files world. Release dates: TBA.

Thriller - Former White House and State Department Official, U.S. Congressional Candidate and EVP of the Asia Society Jamie Metzl is ready to take on a new title: novelist. In Metzl’s Genesis Code, a reporter delves deeper into a high-stakes race between the US and China as they race to enhance their populations with genetically altered people. Throw in a murder and dangerous secrets and this futuristic read is sure to be a hit! Release date: TBA.


Young Adult - In Erin Butler’s Finding Mr. Darcy: High School Edition, a teen girl turns to Jane Austen in hopes of getting answers on how to find her true love. Will she get her happy ending? Find out next summer!

Contemporary Romance - In To Love Again by Serena Bell, a soldier who lost his leg in Afghanistan returns to civilian life. Left without a sense of purpose, he discovers he’s the father of a child whose mother is desperately looking for summer child care. Perhaps this wounded soldier will once again feel a sense of purpose.
