With our column, Forewords, we let readers know the latest book news about some of the web team's most-anticipated upcoming releases across the genres — just as the projects are announced!

Young Adult - New author Jessica Alcott will treat YA fans to a juicy tale with her debut, I’ll Believe You When You’re Gone, about an ugly duckling high school senior who takes things a little too far after she celebrates her eighteenth birthday by sharing an intimate night with her charming English teacher. Look for this title coming spring 2015.

Erotic Romance - Beautiful Bastard writing duo Christina Lauren has plenty more sultry romance lined up for readers with their upcoming Wild Seasons series, starting with Sweet Filthy Boy in June 2014. The authors say the series will eventually tie in to their Beautiful Bastard universe, and we’re excited to see how!

Contemporary Romance - Whether you cringe at the idea of online dating or found your beau on the Internet, M. Pierce’s Night Owl explores the not-so-creepy side of online connections when two people who start out as anonymous online writing partners and soon take things to the next level. Release date TBA.

Romantic Suspense - Get ready, Tracers fans. You’ll be happy to learn that Laura Griffin will be penning more stories of love and suspense centered around forensic science with a new series beginning in fall 2015.

Erotic Romance - Jaci Burton’s home run Play by Play series — featuring hunky athletes and the women who love them — will continue with three more books! Release dates (and drool-worthy covers) for books 10, 11 and 12 TBA.

New Adult - A.L. Jackson serves up another dose of drama with the next installment in the author’s Closer to You series, about a young man who realizes the ex girlfriend he left — and is desperately trying to get over — turns out to be his new neighbor. Will this old flame be reignited? Find out when the book hits shelves spring of 2015.

Contemporary Romance - Speaking of athlete heroes, Lorelie Brown’s One Lesson features a type of athlete we’ve been dying to see more of in romance: surfers! Will he make waves when he gets involved with an attorney? We’re thinking yes, and we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds when the book releases next year.

Historical Fiction - Stephanie Dray and Laura Kamoie will reimagine early American politics with America’s First Daughter, about the tenuous relationship between Thomas Jefferson and his daughter Martha “Patsy” Jefferson Randolph, who gives up a life in Revolutionary France with the man of her dreams in order to support her father. Release date TBA.

Contemporary Romance - Boomerang Bride author Fiona Lowe treats readers to more love and laughter with a new contemp, pitched as “Duck Dynasty meets Grey’s Anatomy,” about a Chicago doctor who moves to the country town and must adjust to quirky small town life. This pitch has everything we love about contemporary! Release date TBA.
