Mystery - Rosie Genova (aka Rosemary DiBattista) introduces readers to a big Italian-American family and their Jersey Shore restaurant in Murder Marinara. Our fingers are crossed that this cozy-sounding story of murder and mayhem will come complete with some killer recipes.

Romantic Suspense - Author Maya Banks will be adding three more titles to her popular KGI series. In her most recent books, the author has moved towards a paranormal plot lines — there is no word yet if this will continue, but supernatural or not, our fingers are P.J., a crack sniper and the only woman on the KGI security team, will be getting her HEA.

Erotic Romance - The heroine of Susan Lyons’ next novel explores Her Inner Dirty Girl with a sexy cowboy after she’s inspired by her book club’s sexy pick of the month, an erotica featuring a man who is home, home on the range. But will the new man in this big city girl’s life have her questioning her priorities after they make an emotional connection?

Paranormal Romance - A Jaguar’s Kiss by Katie Reus brings a shifter heroine back to her pack after being away for a decade only to discover that a neighboring wolf pack, along with the alpha shifter she used to love, thinks that the giant cats have become killers.

Historical Romance - Sara Luck’s Claiming the Heart transports readers back to the taming of the Wild West when the new railroads were just cutting across the frontier, for the tale of a young woman who may discover her happily ever after amidst the new hustle and bustle of innovation.

Contemporary Romance - It’s Cowboy Boots and Champagne Flutes for the very opposite hero and heroine of Lynnette Austin’s next novel. But will this Boston lady and Texas rancher be able to make a relationship work?

Young Adult - Sarah Dessen takes on a heroine’s final summer before college in The Best After Ever. It’s a tumultuous time but this girl’s seaside hometown sounds like the best place to experience a last hurrah.

Series Romance - What would you do if a serial bomber targeted you? Well if you’re the psychologist heroine of Lena Diaz’s next Harlequin Intrigue story, you get cozy with a detective who also works as a bomb squad technician … and hope he can keep you safe while you two enjoy your Explosive Attraction.

Mainstream Fiction - Ten Things I’ve Learnt About Love by Sarah Butler features two narrators with an unusual connection in a story about homecoming, families and father-daughter relationships for this Spring 2013 tale.

Paranormal Romance - If you love alternate realities, be sure to check out Kate Pearce’s Soul Sucker, which transports readers to San Francisco for the story of a psychic woman who must unmask a killer and find her mate or risk her powers driving her insane. 

EXCITING DEBUT AUTHOR

Historical Fiction - Downton Abbey fans should keep an eye out for The Last Summer by Judith Kinghorn, the upstairs-downstairs tale about the daughter of a nouveau riche family and her secret romance with the housekeeper’s son on a Sussex estate just before the start of WWI.

Mystery - In the May 2013 whodunit Malicious Mischief, a young woman who has caught the eye of two detectives, must clear her boss’s name and cater to the whims of several senior citizens as she tries to save her family home. We can wait for Marianne Harden’s debut, which is sure to be a page-turner.

NON-FICTION PICK

Biography - If you’re interested in the final years of Queen Elizabeth’s life and reign, be sure to check out Elizabeth: The Later Years by John Guy. The author looks at the queen’s political choices, and her relationships, in this in-depth non-fic coming out in Spring 2015.

TELEVISION TIE-IN

The Viagra Diaries introduces readers to a sixty-something relationship columnist who is looking for love in this upcoming October 2012 book by Barbara Rose Brooker. However, the rights to the story have already been sold to HBO. The series will have the same name and is set to star Goldie Hawn!
