LILLI FEISTY GUEST BLOGS ABOUT THE SECOND BOOK IN THE EROTIC WASTELAND SERIES
In 2012, the world came to a grinding halt as radiation hit from a massive solar storm. Crops died, animals perished, cities fell and humans became little more than beasts themselves. Under the threat of starvation, civility was reduced to mere memory. Only the strongest men survived, and physically weaker women and children wasted to nothingness.
More than a century later, humanity struggles in the desert Wasteland. The solar radiation rendered most women infertile, and the population dwindles more with each year that passes. Scattered up and down coasts, isolated cities eke out an existence from fishing, foraging and hunting for what little game is left. Outside the city walls, men face the threat of pirates and raiders.
Few women remain, divided into four classes—Whores, Breeders, Priestesses and Wanderers. They are as reviled as they are worshipped, a commodity any man must pay to touch. To touch a Whore, a man must sacrifice his riches. To touch a Breeder, a man must sacrifice his freedom. To touch a Priestess, a man must be chosen by the gods. And to touch a Wanderer may end up costing him his life.
There is only one rule in the Wasteland—survive.

I’m so excited to be here to talk about the Smutketeers’ Wasteland series! This is my first continuity series, and it was challenging in a lot of ways, but some of it was also made easier by the fact that my fellow authors played such a big part in creating this world. My story, THE WHORE, is Book Two in the series—a naughty adventure with whores (of course), pirates, a journey on the high seas, a street fight, some paddling, and a few other details I can’t mention in mixed company…
One of the things I love about this world is that each caste of women has unique tattoos that signify different things. Since I’m tattooed myself and love the art form so much, this is a favorite aspect of these stories. Crystal Jordan’s Wanderers have both family and clan tattoos, as well as other markings they earn during their lives. Eden Bradley’s Breeders have two tattoos: one they receive at puberty and one which is part of their womanhood ceremony. R.G. Alexander’s Priestess has beautiful tattoos in patterns all over her body. You can see some of the tattoos if you look carefully at the covers—and can I just say how thrilled we all are with our covers? Kanaxa did the most beautiful covers for us!
One of the other things I loved about writing my story was the pirates, because, let’s face it, who doesn’t love a pirate? My pirates are down and dirty, very pirate-like, but they’re both good men underneath their raw exterior. And I love the way they’re such a contrast to each other, two very different men. Xander is a man’s man, extremely masculine and dominant. Hawke is the gentler of the two, but still very much a pirate. My heroine, Bryn, is one lucky girl! I can’t say more without giving away too much.
THE WHORE is out from Samhain Publishing on May 11th. I hope readers enjoy my book, and the Smutketeers hope everyone enjoys the whole series! You can find more information and updates, as well as contests to celebrate our month-long Wasteland series release on our blog.
