Bestselling authors Melissa Marr and Kelley Armstrong are beloved by fans for the intricate paranormal worlds of their YA series, Wicked Lovely and The Summoning, respectively. However, never let it be said that these authors rest on their laurels. They have just announced that Little, Brown Books for Young Readers will be publishing their newest foray into uncharted territory: a co-written middle grade series called The Blackwell Pages.
Although the new series is aimed at readers between the ages 8 to 12, don't be surprised if you find yourself intrigued by the concept. The stories will follow three young teens, two boys and a girl, who learn that they are distantly related to the Norse gods and that it is up to them to avert the apocalypse, or Ragnarok, as it is known in Norse mythology.
Loki's Wolves, which starts the series, is scheduled to hit bookshelves in the spring of 2013.
