If You Chose Mostly A’s … then you’re most likely in the mood for a heartwarming contemporary such as Teresa Hill’s Five Days Grace. When Grace McRae retreats to her family cabin for some much needed R&R, she finds the cabin already occupied by Aiden Shaw, an ex-soldier who is recovering from service in Afghanistan. When a storm traps them together, they may discover the healing they both need in each other’s arms. RT Reviewer Jill M. Smith praises “this beautiful tale of wounded individuals coming together.”
If You Chose Mostly B’s … you need the heart-pounding action of a romantic suspense, and Twenty-Nine and a Half Reasons by Denise Grover Swank offers up a tempting tale. When a psychic vision convinces Rose Gardner of a defendant’s innocence, this not-so-ordinary member of the jury is determined to see justice prevail. RT’s Keitha Hart is certain that “readers will enjoy this lighthearted romantic suspense novel with a dash of comedy.”
If You Chose Mostly C’s … then Eva Marquez’s Sweetest Taboo, a young adult novel that features a controversial relationship, may just hit the spot. It tells the story of Isabel, a precocious fifteen-year-old, and love that develops between her and her older, married swim coach, Tom. RT’s Jaime A. Geraldi called this “a gripping account of an atypical, bittersweet romance” that poses the question of whether age matters or not when love’s involved.
If You Chose Mostly D’s … then Rose Gordon’s historical His Contract Bride may just be your cup of tea. With his interest in science and all things rational, Lord Edward Banks wasn’t keen on courting a bride so contracting one with the help of her father is much more appealing. But Regina Harris isn’t about to enter into a cold marriage with no love — can Edward convince her that their chemistry is more combustible than he had ever imagined?
If You Chose Mostly E’s … the thrilling world of urban fantasy is calling! Allyson James, aka Jennifer Ashley, continues her Janet Begay series with Nightwalker. When a dangerous artifact surfaces, all the supernatural beings begin to converge on her Crossroads Hotel to try to get their claws on it. But with Janet and her dragon boyfriend Mick on the offensive, this is going to be one hellacious battle. Reviewer Jill M. Smith is thrilled that “James is continuing this unforgettable series.”
