Six Degrees of Separation: Angie Fox

Gracing the September RT BOOK REVIEWS cover is author Angie Fox. Best known for her Accidental Demon Slayer books, Fox writes quirky, funny paranormal romances. This month she started a new series with Immortally Yours. Taking inspiration from the TV show M*A*S*H, Fox's story features Dr. Petra Robichaud as she fixes up soldiers so they can continue their fight between the gods.

Angie's lighthearted stories have made her a fan favorite. A frequent guest at the RT Booklovers Convention, many readers have already gotten to know the author. But for those who have yet to have the pleasure, we've decided to make up this handy guide to explore the author's place in paranormal romance. The genre may feel vast, but actually seems small when you break it down. So sit back and see how Six Degrees is all that is needed to connect Fox with other great authors.

Angie's last name is really Fox — and foxes are part of the canidae family — which gives Angie an instant connection to Lora Leigh who writes about canidae in her Breed's series. The sixth Breeds story, "The Breed Next Door", is found in the anthology Hot Spell

Hot Spell also contains a story by bestselling author Meljean Brook.

In 2010, Brook won an RT Reviewers Choice award for her Iron Seas series starter, The Iron Duke. Also nominated that year for a Paranormal Romance award was Ilona Andrews' Bayou Moon.

Andrews' novel was set in Louisiana. Another book to be set in the same area is Erin McCarthy's My Immortal.

McCarthy's best friend and long time critique partner is the fantastic Kathy Love.

And guess who was in the anthology So I Married a Demon Slayer with Kathy Love?

That's right, Angie Fox!
