SOCIAL SUNDAY - THE LAST DAY AT RT BOOKLOVERS CONVENTION 2010

The Social Sunday program, new to this year's convention, was an absolute success. Authors, readers and booksellers enjoyed a day long program of events. Here are some of this years highlights:

At the "Author Speed Meeting" readers sat at tables while authors circulated in every fifteen minutes. Among the authors patricipating was Holly Black.

Heather Graham aka Shannon Drake also made her way around the tables.

Next up came the game "Title Search" where teams competed for prizes. But, most agreed that the best prize was that authors and readers played on teams together. (Spot Mario Acevedo at a table on the right.)

Then everyone moved next door to play "Mix'N' Match: A Booklover's Memory Game" which challenged readers to match authors with their respective books.

And at the end everyone gathered in PJs for "Resplendence Romance At Twilight" to relax and watch a favorite romantic movie. With theater style refleshments and still more giveaways, it was the perfect end to an amazing convention!
