Today we’re pleased to reveal the book's cover, which shows a younger Gin wielding some heavy ice magic in the form of two pointed sais.
There’s no doubt we’re loving this cover, especially because it departs from the typical scantily clad Urban Fantasy heroine (although we bet Jim C. Hines would still enjoy recreating the 'don't mess with me' pose). While this may be because this version of Gin is younger, it’s always nice to see a refreshing change when it comes to cover art. (And don't even get us started on the enhanced magical elements on this cover — what a fantastic touch!)
