Paranormal author Karen Marie Moning has just revealed the cover of her next MacKayla Lane story (affectionately known around these parts as “the Fever books”). This story will feature Mac, the same determined Southern heroine that readers have gotten to know and love over the past few years. But in a fun twist in this series outing, MacKayla is getting graphic! That’s right Fever Moon is a graphic novel that will be in stores on July 10th.
The Fever series started as traditional print books in 2006 with Darkfever, which introduced readers to Mac, a spunky Southern heroine in her early twenties who travels to Ireland to unmask her sister’s killer — only to realize that she has the ability to see the Fae, and they aren’t too happy about it. It’s not long before Mac is torn between two enigmatic heroes, the sensuous dark fae Vlane, or the rich and powerful Jericho Barrons. Mac knows that she can’t trust either man, but that doesn’t mean that they won’t each steal a piece of her heart. (Chilling, right? I certainly thought so.)
