Wrapping Up YA Month With A List Of Upcoming Releases

RT's web team wants to thank everyone for joining us for our first "theme" month on the RT Daily Blog. We have had a ton of fun covering Young Adult novels during September with amazing videos, guest blogs, giveaways, reviews and more from some of our favorite YA authors. (You can check out the all of the action here.)

As a parting gift to the readers, we thought we would make a list of some upcoming YA reads that we can't wait to get our hands on. Do you have an upcoming book you are dying to read? Let us know in the comments!

The Mockingbirds by Daisy Whitney
Releases November 2010

The RT editors have been talking about this book for months - a heavy hitting subject matter (date rape) is delved into in this hauntingly powerful tale.

Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead
Releases December 2010

We love love love the Vampire Academy novels and we can't wait to get our hands on number six. We are also ready for a giant re-read session of all the VA novels because this title wraps up the series!

Prom and Prejudice by Elizabeth Eulber
Releases January 2011

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single guy in his spring semester at Pemberly Academy must be in want of a prom date.

It is also a truth universally acknowledged that we can't get enough of Jane Austen inspired books - we say bring on the contemporary teenage Lizzie and Will!

Trapped by Michael Northrop
Releases February 2011

The formula for this story is The Breakfast Club + The Shining + Michael Northrop = Trapped.

The formula for our excitement is mismatched students + stranded at school = super freaky high jinks.

Falling Under by Gwen Hayes
Releases
March 2011

Theia must decide whether or not to follow a boy she barely knows into the underworld - it would seem like an easy choice, but other than the whole underworld thing, this guy is pretty perfect!

Razorland by Ann Aguirre
Releases April 2011

We love Ann Aguirre's sci fi Jax series, so we can't wait to see if she will bring the same thrilling chase scenes and doomed characters to her debut YA. Consider us all signed up to follow Huntress Deuce on her mission to evade the "Freaks" who want her dead!
