Martin’s first book is nothing short of amazing! You’ll laugh, cry and scream with every page as you follow Danielle and her realistic yet zany post–high-school antics. Danielle is a multi-dimensional, strong-willed character who follows the beat of her own drum with aplomb. It also doesn’t hurt that her love triangle involves two seriously swoonworthy boyfriends: Porter, the eclectic indie guy, and Luke, the literal boy next-door. The Big F deserves an A-plus for being the quirkiest, most fun-loving read of 2017 so far!

Danielle’s post-high school future has always been spelled out. She was going to Ohio State for college. But her plans change when she fails her senior English class and Danielle tries to hide it from her professional “college-psychic” mother. Forced to find a backup plan, Danielle enrolls at her local community college and gets a job at the school bookstore with the ever-so-dreamy but also annoying Porter. Danielle’s plans get even more complicated when she reconnects with her long-lost neighbor, Luke. For Danielle, starting over is nothing she (or her psychic mom) could have ever predicted.
