Image of Virtue and Vice (Order of Solace)

Lovers of sexy stories will enjoy the romantic scenes in Hart’s fourth Order of Solace book, but they will also be entertained by the political storyline. Indeed, the love story almost takes a backseat to the fascinating world of intrigue. There is real suspense between the two main characters and their surroundings, making this quite the compelling read.

Jarron Bydelay, prince and heir to the Second Province, has requested a Handmaiden to bring him solace. Sister Redemption is sent to him. Little does Jarron know that the elegant beauty is really Notsah, once a ragged servant girl to whom he showed mercy many years ago. Redemption recognizes the man who spared her life and works to bring him solace, but ends up falling deeply in love with him. When Redemption’s Handmaiden duties overlap with the political turmoil Jarron faces, she must risk putting her heart on the line. (BERKLEY SENSATION, Sep., 336 pp., $15.00)
