What Is The Difference Between A Member And A Non-Member? Both non-member and members are visitors to RTBOOKREVIEWS.com. The difference is that a non-subscriber is someone who has registered for an online account at www.RTBookReviews.com but is not a member of the to RT VIP Salon. A subscriber is someone who has registered for an online account at www.RTBookReviews.com and is a member of the to RT VIP Salon.

The member has a 7-digit account number for their membership. When the member's 7-digit account number is added to their online account, it provides the membership access to the RT VIP Salon.

Can A Non-Member Become A Member? Yes. If after a non-member has registered for an online account, then becomes a member of the RT VIP Salon, they can update their online account to include their 7-digit account number.

What Should A New Visitor Do If They Cannot Login? After registering for a new online account, the new visitor must go to the email account that they registered with and open the email from RT Book Reviews.com. They must click the verification link to be registered as a new user.

How Does A Member Locate Their 7-digit account number? The 7-digit account number will be emailed to you after you sign up for membership.

What Should A Registered Member Do If They Cannot Access The RT VIP Salon?

Below are two common issues for members who are unable to access the RT VIP Salon. If neither of these issues pertain to you, please do not hesitate to contact our webmaster (Webmaster@RTBookReviews.com) with details about your log in issue and we will take care of you immediately.

If you can not access the RT VIP Salon it may be because you have recently had a change of address. We may need to re-verify your membership status with your new address. Please contact our webmaster (Webmaster@RTBookReviews.com) with your name, the email address you registered for your online account with, and your 7-digit account number and we will fix the issue. If you can not access the RT VIP Salon it may be because your account has recently expired. When your account expires you become a user unless you renew your membership. When you renew your membership your new 7-digit account number will renew your access to the RT VIP Salon after the first issue of your new membership.

What Is The Difference Between A Romantic Suspense and Suspense Novel With A Romantic Subplot? Books that are placed in the romantic suspense category place a heavy emphasis on the development of a romantic relationship during the plot. Books that are placed in the mystery, suspense or thriller categories may have a romantic subplot but, there is not heavy emphasis on the development of a romantic relationship during the plot.

How Can A Reader Find Information About An Author ?

To learn about an author you can use the Advanced Author Search by searching for the author’s name in our database. That will take you to the author’s profile. You can also Browse Authors to find an author’s profile if you are not sure of the author’s name. Or you can view the list of RT’s Author Websites which will lead you to the author’s personal websites.

What Is An Author Profile Page And What Is On It? There is an author profile on our site for each author who has had a book reviewed by RT Book Reviews. This is a page with the author’s name, pseudonyms, and any RT awards that they have been nominated for or won.  Frequently an author’s profile also includes their photo and or a link to their website.

But most importantly, this author profile has a list of all of the books written by the author. These books are referred to by title, publication date, genre, and RT Rating. If the title coincides with a message from the author to our readers, that is denoted by the text “Message From The Author” after the book’s genre.

On the author profile, all book lists can be sorted by alphabetical order of the titles, by rating the titles received (highest to lowest) and chronologically by publication date - both oldest first and newest first.Any books that an author has written under a pseudonym are listed  below the primary list.

What To Do If You Are An Author Who Wants To Update Your Profile? After your author profile is on our site, you can request to add (or update) your photo and/or your website. You can do so by emailing your photo or your website url to our webmaster (webmaster@rtbookreviews.com).  If you are updating your photo, we prefer that you send a larger size photo so that we can best fit it to our template.
